Setting Cisco ASA to boot without the password
Connect the cisco ASA to a serial console port and boot the device
When you see the option to press ESC, do so
This should bring you to a rommon> prompt where you will type "confreg 0x41"
Now the Cisco ASA will be ignoring the system configuration, so you can type "boot"
